PRAXIS

About Praxis

The people who advise you are the people who do the work.

Praxis is a senior team that helps founders and operating leaders decide what to build, change, or fix, and then does the work with them.

You shouldn't need one firm for strategy, another for design, and another to build.

Every handoff loses context, and when the work is split across firms, no one owns the whole result. Praxis brings product, design, engineering, and AI together in one senior team that owns it from the first conversation to the finished work.

Damian Galarza

Co-founder & Fractional CTO

Damian has spent more than 15 years building production software, and today he focuses on putting AI to work inside products and teams. At Praxis, he leads technical direction on client work, including architecture, platform decisions, security, and where AI belongs. He stays hands-on throughout each engagement, so the person setting the direction is also close to the work being done.

Sumit Gupta

Fractional CTO

Sumit has spent more than 20 years turning complex business problems into products. As co-founder and CTO of DoubleLoop, he built an AI-native business intelligence platform, including the evaluation systems that kept it reliable in production. Mixpanel acquired the technology. Before that, he helped scale Yardbarker into the world's fourth-largest sports site, and as founding CTO, he helped build Catch&Release into an eight-figure business.

At Praxis, Sumit helps clients get clear on the problem, find the practical answer, and build products that keep improving through real use.

Our Ethos

These are the principles behind every engagement, and what you can hold us to.

“The leader must own everything in his or her world. There is no one else to blame.”
Jocko Willink and Leif Babin, Extreme Ownership

Start with the outcome.

We focus on what needs to improve for your customers or operations before deciding how to get there.

Take full ownership.

If something puts the result at risk, we raise it early, bring a plan, and see it through with you, wherever it started.

Use AI where it helps.

We use AI every day in our own work. For your business, we recommend it when it's the best answer, and something simpler when it isn't.

Test before you invest.

A prototype or a few weeks of research costs far less than building the wrong thing.

No surprises.

You'll always know what's changed, what's at risk, and what we recommend next.
